The exceptional gas molecule trapping of ZIF-8 and the significant enrichment provided by SLIPS substrates were pivotal in achieving excellent online SERS sensing performance for pH and gaseous putrescine molecules in 4-Mpy and 4-MBA-functionalized AuNS@ZIF-8-SLIPS substrates.
